As a member of the UK Oracle User Group (UKOUG), we're excited to be speaking at the Tech17 conference this December. This brilliant event provides a platform for both Oracle end-users and partners to learn about the latest technologies, best practices and upcoming trends.
What will the talk be about?
This presentation is designed to help you to understand and get started with Oracle Java Cloud service. Matt will begin by looking at the basics:
- how to create service containers to host your application
- how to scale the application
- how to configure a WebLogic domain for your application, and
- how to connect to the Oracle Database Cloud Service
He will then assess the limitations and constraints that operating in the cloud creates, before concluding with a discussion of more general best practices.
With cloud services gaining greater and greater traction in the market, and becoming realistic options for organisations of all sizes, the Oracle Java Cloud Service provides a solid platform for hosting your WebLogic or JavaEE application. This session will allow you to take a technical look at the features of Oracle Java Cloud service, and will include a demonstration of configuring a cloud service and deploying an application.
